Vision Of the Dept

VISION OF THE DEPARTMENT:-

The Department visualize the needs and aspirations of youth-mass, by working on certain identified "Thrust areas" for shaping Environment of the state. The Department will develop environmentally sound technology in the course of time, because the Department visualize accumulation of huge quantity of wastes in all sectors which will pose problems in future. Therefore, the Department proposes to set up a center for Energy, natural resources & waste Management at this University. The Department may also run the following specializations/electives in future on demand:-

i) Environmental Geology & Remote sensing.

ii) Environmental Technology &Management.

iii) Ecotourism and sustainable development.

Planning is also there to open new courses like:

i) M.Tech. in Environmental Science & Engineering.

ii) M.Tech. in Environmental strategic studies &Technology.

iii) P.G. Diploma in waste Management
