POST-GRADUATE WORK DONE AND PAPERS PUBLISHED

Ø Awarded with CSIR Junior Research Fellowship in September, 1991 and CSIR Senior Research Fellowship in October, 1993.

Ø Successfully passed M. Phil. in 1992 securing 75% of marks from P.G. Department of Botany, Utkal University. Title of M. Phil. Dissertation- "Changes in Catalase and Peroxidase Activities during Callus Growth in Rice".

Ø Worked for Ph. D. Degree in the Department of Botany, Utkal University, under the supervision of Prof. Manoranjan Kar. Worked on "Studies on Antioxidative Systems of Rice Tissues Cultured In Vitro". Thesis submitted to Utkal University on 22.9.95 for the awarded of Ph. D. Degree. Degree awarded on 09.4.1997.

Ø Undergraduate (Hons. & Pass)- 09 years (from 29.9.1995 to 06.8.2004) at Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. Subjects taught:- Ecology, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Taxonomy, Embryology, Lichenology, Mycology & Biometry.

Ø As a Guest Faculty- Taken classes at College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, a constituent College of Central Agricultural University, Imphal, from March, 2001 to October, 2002- under course credit system. Subjects taught:- Environmental Science, Plant Physiology & Biochemistry.

Ø Post Graduate: Since 09.8.2004 at P.G. Department of Environmental Sciences, F.M. University, Vyasa Vihar, Balasore.

OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS:

Ø Qualified N.E.T. in the Agricultural Research Scientist Examination, conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, New Delhi in 1994.

Ø Awarded 3rd prize (All India Senior Category) in the fifth Delhi University Botanical Society Paper Presentation Contest organised by Delhi University Botanical Society in 1990.

Ø Awarded for paper presentation in Parijatak Seminar, P.G. Department of Botany, Utkal University in 1989.

Ø Presented several "Radio Talks" on various Environmental Issues like " Is Our World Warming", "Pollution Poison in Pasighat Township", "Biodiversity Conservation in Arunachal Pradesh", "Conservation of Genetic Resources" etc. at All India Radio, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh.
